Each Saturday night, about 4 members of Canford Heath ChURCh go into Poole to serve food and clothing to the homeless.
Some of these homeless are very hungry and cold, some suffer addictions and some have had traumatic pasts. Sadly, most are still living a traumatic life.
Janette McCallum (from ChURCh) heads up our team. We bring Hot drinks - Coffee, Tea, Hot chocoloate; Food - Baps, Soup, and Adrian brings a gas stove where he dishes out stew and other delicious hot food.
The homeless are always very grateful for what we do for them, and it's not just about food and drink! They also need someone to talk to, a friendly ear and sometimes a shoulder to cry on. Our desire is to express and show the love of Jesus to them.
