As you know, Canford Heath Church is not a spectator church. We are all encouraged to be part of church activity. This not only helps to share the work, but it enables each member to exercise their giftings and live what we learn from scripture. Also, some activities would not otherwise be possible without members willing to participate.
Are you a member of Canford Heath church? Do you want to join in any activities?
Soup run
Every Saturday evening, members of Canford Heath Church bring hot and cold food, clothes and a listening ear to the many homeless in Poole.
We gather under the bridge near the railway station and set up tables to serve food and drinks. We usa a rota, and each member will be on the soup run roughly once per month.
Actually soup run teams man the tables every day, each church having a set day; Ours is Saturday. We are constantly asked "Why do we do this" by very gratefull homeless people. Although we are not there to preach, we like to tell them why we are there when they ask us.
Join us !
The soup run team would like more members to join this activity.
If this sounds like you,
contact Janette McCallum or Mary Barnett.
The soup run team especially welcome couples to join.

- Toiletries,
- soups,
- biscuits,

A box will be under the stairs to receive the gifts. If you are unable to help please don’t forget to pray for these folk and those who help..
